    What is your point?

I believe she left because of the suffocating male attention she aroused when she appeared on these boards. That is what I was referring to with irony. Is your raison d'etre to stir up politically-correct brouhahas where none exist?

Perhaps you could provide evidence of the application of irony in your original post?

What's politically-correct about it? Just offensive, unintended or otherwise.

Perhaps you could indicate evidence of the irony in your original post?

What is politically correct about it? Just plain offensive, whether intended or not.

Possibly, of course, but I'd like to think that some inspired script writer got her to say this in the expectation that she wouldn't get it...

Is that the RFH? I think it is. Unusual angle - don't usually get up there.

                'Doctor, what's the diagnosis?

Paranoid Personality Disorder with a touch of Persecutory Delusion. Please, for the love of God, keep taking the pills.'

                Does this conversation sound familiar.

Since I can't comment here without drawing the unwonted attention of the Do-Gooder Brigade, and this is as tiresome for me as it must be others to witness, it's time for another sabbatical.

So no irony was evident - fair enough.

                    But who's consulted the doctor?

What does God have to do with this or any of what you're writing here to do with the subject?

Not to me; perhaps it does to you, since you've relayed it.

No one's asking you to be tiresome.

Well, that's a relief. Enjoy it.
