alternatives to radio 3

Though there are still many great programmes on radio three I am finding many of the programmes increasingly difficult to listen to especially in the mornings. Any suggestions of other music stations (available on-line) that i might try? thank you

This is well worth tryining, Radio Mercury from Quimber in France - an excellent selection of whole pieces of classical music during the day, with minimal introduction and no yweets, texts trailers or news bulletins, swapping to jazz for the evening and night.

I found it about three weeks ago and have listened, more-or-less, to it for all the time I haven't been listening to TTN

I must admit I'm finding the whole WWI thing on R3 - especially at breakfast* - very dreary and a bit depressing, especially in mid-summer...

So over the last couple of weeks I've been enjoying France Musique .. especially La belle Saision .. "fêter l'été, le soleil, la vacance, le départ vers le grand large, les voyages intérieurs !"

What's not to like? J'aime!

You didn't see the French coverage of D-Day commemorations then?

I wouldn't feel very safe as a pedestrian knowing that your were cycling around listening to podcasts

Not sure if this is the right place (do we have a WWI Commemorations thread?) but Italian TV channel RAITre will be broadcasting a memorial concert from Redipuglia (Italian/Slovenian) border on Sunday 6th July at 21.00 European time. - I believe it can also be seen oltreapli...
