There’s an hourly message saying in effect that after 21 March the BBC won’t be available on this platform and to use BBC Sounds instead. Sonos square root of b***** all help as usual. WQXR looking even more friendly than usual ;) What is my licence fee paying for, remind me?

Our Sonos system threw a complete fit last week: it couldn't find (or connect to) the Wifi, then each device (phone, iPad, main Mac), using the same app, found different Sonos units (with none finding all of them!).
We were waiting until today to contact them rather than trying over the weekend, but we are not that hopeful.
It was not cheap, and being told to pay to upgrade to new units (which is what we fear will be the 'advice') is not really what we want.

Sonos helpdesk guy was similarly baffled with its behaviour, but eventually, following one of his suggestions, we were able pretty much to start from scratch and set up the system afresh, and (touch wood) all now is fine, though the app behaviour is still a bit erratic.Comment
