    Cannonball Adderley Quintet ~ Nardis

Miles Davis composed 'Nardis' for Cannonball Adderley's Quintet with Bill Evans to be found on the 1958 album 'Portrait of Cannonball'.
Does anyone know if Miles ever recorded it?

Miles never recorded Nardis....In Bill Evans' Biography "How My Heart Sings" it is stated that Bill got the tune from Miles and that Miles gave Bill permission to play and record it...Nardis as well as Blue and Green were probably co-written by Miles and Bill......The word on the street is that "Tune Up" and "Four" were composed by Eddie Vinson and "Seven Steps to Heaven" by Victor Feldman.....It is amazing that there seems to be a new release by Miles just about every year, his latest "Miles in India".....
