Space Hilbert: Your stepping out into the snow that night from the Vanguard, nudged my memory of two years ago - in NY - on October 29th...Having departed from a water-taxi in Battery Park to make the long walk to the 9/11 Memorial.
The first October snow in 59 years was making for an arduous pilgrimage...wet, heavy - horizontal stuff.
Memorial was desolate with an overwhelming sense of absence...loss.Comment
