James Cotton ~ Cotton Crop Blues

I was knocked out by James Cotton's 1954 version of 'Cotton Crop Blues' played on Paul Jones' Radio 2 programme recently and thought some boredees might like to hear it. Stunning guitar from Pat Hare.

Pat Hare...very small amp, max distortion, birth of power chords?...a really nasty piece of work disliked by all, he really did "Murder his Baby". Ckout Muddy at Newport 1960 for Pat playing second guitar.

      Evil cat.

BTW, Pat Hare played the stunning lead guitar on Bobby Bland's "Further Up the Road". Ripped off by Clapton.
