well imho JLU was a five star programme .... the BBC Big band seems to have been reborn under the musical direction of Julian Arguelles as a subtly swinging incarnation of a Gil Evans band ... not possible to give greater praise ... a very welcome development for this ensemble .... moves from skip to catch in a single bound &c ...
