The (dispersed) Jazz Zone next weekend.

I have no wish to steal Calum's thunder but...

... having just listened to JRR, I now discover that next week's JRR is again at 2130.

This led me straight to the BBC R3 schedule page expecting to find another Met Wagnerfest, but no - I see it is Handel's Julio Cesare, for which I have a soft spot.

I may now have to eat my Pork Pie Hat in regard to criticism of schedule changes!

However, I may well have to go into hibernation week commencing Monday 22 July - Proms Wagnerfest - JRR on Saturday will certainly be displaced by Tristan and Isolde, which commences at 1700.

OG You're right - No JRR on 27 July, but otherwise from 11 May we'll be back regularly at 5pm for the foreseeable future. (17th Aug delayed start at 5.15)

                        On Jamie Cullum tonite:

"... Featuring an interview with former Cream and Blind Faith drummer Ginger Baker, who discusses working with those late-60s blues-rock bands, plus Fela Kuti, Ron Miles and his new African fusion project with Pee Wee Ellis and Alec Dankworth"

Did anyone else miss this morning's "Ella in Berlin" on Radio 4, despite her pic being plastered down the l.h. side of the radio page? I know, I know, but... Radio 4, fer chrissakes!
