There's a thread called 'Alphabet Associations', on the Platform 3 Forum, which has tended to concentrate on rather esoteric areas of the classical music world. In an attempt to broaden its appeal, I've set what I consider to be a fairly straightforward jazz-based question, but nobody has got close to the answer yet (despite my posting a couple of clues). Would anybody here like to enlighten them? (NB: Whoever gets the right answer has to set the next question, the answer(s) to which must begin with the next letter in the alphabet.)
