Enjoyable, but perhaps a little long! I had exactly the same reaction to the James Bond concert a night or two ago - it was OK, but the music began to seem very repetitive!

Interesting to read your reaction to the James Bond concert. I started watching this once "Have I got news for you " finished and caught the orchestra playing the theme from "Live and let die." I must admit that I would usually have to argue that Paul McCartney is probably the most over-rated person in all spheres of music yet this was easily the best James Bond theme tune of them all. I was intrigued at just how poor the later themes were and wasn't too impressed with some of the orchestration either which sounds pretty perfunctory at the best of times.
I enjoy James Bond films and think that alot of the appeal stems from the theme music . The marriage between John Barry's composition and the original Bond themes is probably the most sympathetic in the hisotry of cinema. I still think it is an extremely evocative piece of writing:-
The original james bond theme tune.Who Do You Think is the best James Bond Actor?Post in the comments and give your reasons why!
However, this is almost as good in my opinion:-
Can't see what all the fuss is about the Adele song for the latest offering, "Skyfall." I thought this was the best James Bond to date but I am not a fan of the girl singer with the massive head.
