sorry cloughie, glib maybe but dismissal never .... over the decades i have seen mant debates aobout the nature of jazz and i have turned away from them except as you perhaps feel to take the mick out of the idea that anything at all could possibly be pure ....[i am not a follower of Plato either] ...however the thought of giving offence to a boredee appals me and i hope you can take my post in the light hearted intent it had
