Yet another great band to note from the F-Ire Collective at The Amersham tonight with a new CD about to come out: that of guitarist Ant Law (good name eh?) - fluent alto/sop/bass clarinet from a Mark Chillingworth, and the ever-dependable bass of Tom Farmer and drums of James Maddren, playing mostly original materials by the leader featuring subtle harmonic shifts, consistent interactive listening, and a lot of freedom within and edging beyond of structures.
