AMM Music

A friend of mine is writing a commissioned thesis on Cornelius Cardew and AMMMusic.

He is particularly focussing on the events leading up to The Big Split (early 70's).

I was wondering if there was anyone out there who either saw them during this time (and might be willing to chat about this) or actually knew them during this time.

Only just noticed that this message, to which I have already responded by PM, is on this "Jazz" message board. What's it doing here? O.k., Eddie, Keith and Lou were jazzers, but AMM's music is not really jazz, is it?
