      Thanks TF - another new name and a well-balanced group it's great to listen to. Kind of cool M-Base I think one could say. Heckselman brings our own Mike Walker to my mind as a comparison; and, yes, I hadn't heard of him, the bassist or tenor player, only the drummer - can't remember where at the mo.

          I've only come across him on this:



          He doesn't really get much room to stretch out on it, though. It's an album which is more about ensemble playing than strings of flashy solos.

          I know he works with drummer Ari Hoenig a bit, and they've played some gigs over here (in a trio with Euan Burton on bass), but I've never heard him live.
