    Hannah Rothschild on Cerys

Cerys on 6 had Hannah Rothschild on talking a bit about Baroness Pannonica this morning - a wee bit of Monk, of course, in the short interview which is just over an hour in, when it comes up on LA, if you're interested - slightly strong language too for a Sunday morning in a tale relating to a car race between Pannonica and Miles.

Yes - I'm listening - some very interesting music being played by Cerys.

But frankly I could have done without Hannah's talk.

Have to say OB, I jumped a bit at the strong language - must be in Sunday morning mode - mind you, I jumped in a nice way to hear Ali Farka Toure on a Sunday am - she does play a fine mix, I think.

Hannah Rothschild was also interviewed on Radio Scotland's "The Jazz House" last night. You'd think she'd a book to sell or something...

It's repeated on Sunday at 8pm and available online at http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b01j71c7 There's also a mini-feature on Gil Evans, including one of the tracks from his album with Kenny Burrell as well as some of the more obvious stuff.
