Jazz Line-Up tonight features a live session from the Janek Gwizdala Quartet recorded in the Jazz Bar in Edinburgh last month.
I heard them in Glasgow the following night, and they were excellent. I hadn't heard of Gwizdala before, but he's a marvellous bass player, and Reynolds is one of the most individual sax players I've heard in a while. Unless you've a complete aversion to anything electric, this is well worth a listen.
Here's a couple of reviews of dates from their tour: http://londonjazz.blogspot.co.uk/201...sgwizdala.html (London); http://www.robadamsjournalist.com/in...p?pageid=70412 (Glasgow).
And here's an interview with Gwizdala: http://www.robadamsjournalist.com/in...p?pageid=70413
