    The MUSE label

    Astonishing how many albums were issued on Joe Fields' long defunct MUSE label including classics from Woody Shaw(The Moontrane), James Spaulding(Brilliant Corners) & Jay Hoggard(A Night in Greenwich Village). An important catalogue that deserves to be resuscitated.

      Didn't some of the MUSE material find re-relaese a few years back on Camden double CDs? I'm sure I've got some Woody Shaw, Groove Holmes, Al Cohn etc?

        Yes, some of the Muse material was re-issued on Camden double CDs - you sent me a twofer of Jimmy Heath.

        <thanks>

        One of the tracks was played on Jimmy's Library, can't remember which one, though.
