Nowadays a side means onion rings with your big mac or whatever.
I remember a conversation with my son a few years ago (he is 20 yrs old now) about LPs and singles and he had no idea what I was on about.

I tried the other side of a CD and nothing happened.

                  Am I doing something wrong?

For CD's Nic is the man for me (and he's a great teacher of all things electronic !)

Work for two hacked CD players skipping through Schubert, accompanied by the Netherlands Wind Ensemble for their New Year's Day Concert in the Concertgebauw,...

Depends on the CD. The wrong side of some is better...

Only in reference to pre CD recordings eg an old Hollies B side or side 4 of the Beatles White Album or Scenes de Champs being split over 2 sides!

Of course I still refer to side. I have quite a few DVDs with recordings on both sides of the disc. The there is the Boult recording of Beethoven;s Fifth, one side is a DVD, the other a CD. There are other similar discs, too.

Hmmm. I'm not sure you understood the question.

I'm assuming FF didn't either, being a non jazzer...
