i only caught a bit of 'jazz library' last night, before the snooze police arrived.
here he is

'jazz library' was great to fall asleep to again last night, fascinating snippets.... enough for the brain to revel in dreaming the prog ...instead of concentrating on facts and reality.
i'll have to listen again on iplayer, as iirc tw was saying something really interesting about rhythm...... the last i remember.

Handsome - I managed to stay awake for this one, despite the jostled joysof an afternoon spent attending the JLU sesh at the RFH in the Bore Claw Room (sic), to be broadcast tonight to the awakened ones. I sent an email to Trevor saying how much I had enjoyed it and have just had a very appreciative reply - moi! Assuming there is one (haven't yet checked) I strongly recommend the iPlayer of this broadcast, and think it might attract discussion.
(Off-topic I know, 'cos there isn't a separate thread, but the first part of last night's Scorsese doumentary on George Harrison on BBC 2 was the best I've yet seen on the Beatles, so I'd recommend tune in at 9 tonight).
Best wishes

JLU sesh at the RFH in the Bore Claw Room
an unattractive combination of words.
stayed awake for the whole 'jlu' ...but then not much of an achievement, as jlu at rfh was broadcast much earlier than either jez, or alyn.
shall be listening again for tw - i usually find percussionists interesting. they tend to have a slightly different take on things generally, in comparison with drummers, or frontline musicians.
