Picked up Coltrane's "Impressions" for £3 on Saturday. An amazing record but not is a good way! There is about forty minute of music on it but McCoy Tyner doesn't get one solo! The title track goes on longer than the material merits but "India" and "After the rain" make it redeemable. Shocked by the lack of space for the pianist.
