....yes it shows well his distinctive runs and voicing....enjojable album without being earth-shattering....
I don't know whether it's necessary for it to be Earth-shattering or not, but for me it's a very tasteful, soulful blend of harmonic colours (whole-tone, pentatonic and a few Eastern tonalities and plenty of fourths-based sus-chords) fantastic, memorable themes and compositions and awesome playing. Its atmosphere is fairly unique.

I think I taped the broadcast of the Shorter gig I went to at The Barbican in 2011 - lost it but have no means of playing it now anyway.
