    London Calling

For those around W London this coming Thursday (the 25th):

Peter King and his Quintet are doing a freebie at the Cadogan Hall, two streets to the right up Sloane Street from Sloane Square, from 12 noon to 2 pm. There is usually a half-time break, and well-appointed venue has a bar and eatery. (A cold platter with smoked salmon was I thought reasonably priced at a fiver). I imagine the band will be his usual one with the McCoyish Steve Melling au piano, Andy Cleyndert possiblement a la contrabasse, et presque certainement Steve Keogh a la batterie.

When will you get another chance to see our premier bop alto saxophonist for nowt? Come & join the Sloanes, maybe even the squares!

    Hope to see you there!
