        Eric Dolphy is HOWEVER on this as part of the section, Mingus's "Eclipse" from "Pre Bird" which Charles McPherson picked out as part of his J to Z selection. A strange vocal track that reminded me a bit of some Sun Ra.



        If anyone is going for a full Dolphy/Mingus, I'd cheer for "Stormy Weather" from the Candid sessions. Fabulous alto.
