Julian Joseph presents a gig by New Orleans heavyweights the Preservation Hall Jazz Band as part of their 60th-anniversary tour, recorded in November at Miner Hall at SFJAZZ Center in San Francisco. The ensemble was formed in 1961 by tuba player Alan Jaffe to continue the legacy of New Orleans's rich musical history and to create a space where veteran musicians could perform. it has since been taken over by Jaffe's son, bassist and fellow tuba player Ben. And multi-instrumetnalist Alfa Mist shares some of the music that inspires him.

Kim Macari presents new music exploring themes of movement, from train journeys to the ways creative processes change people. Featured artists include Belgian harpist Ann Eysermans, Barcelona-based pianist and composer Clara Lai, and Leeds-based duo Teruki Chan (drums) and Theo Hayes (piano).
