Taking inspiration from the conceptual Australian sculptor Ken Unsworth, sound artist and composer Kate Moore offers a sound that plays with stillness and movement, fluidity and structure. Driven by ritual and the energy of fire, Spanish duo Agusti Fernández and Amidea Clotet explore what it means to set themselves alight with creative inspiration*. And South African multi-instrumentalist Malcolm Jiyani extends the motif of Herbie Hancock's Suite for Angela, taking a global view of the experiences of black women through space and time across the black Atlantic.
Or in the words of Chick Corea, "Got a match?" Sonic in-season currants are also promised, which should be raisin' a few expectations.
