*It could be an advertisement for a sofa or a mattress!
12midnight - Freeness

Hurry, it looks like there could be a rush on!
Sun 26 Sept
4pm - Jazz Record Requests
Alyn Shipton with music from Canadian singer and pianist Diana Krall recorded live in Paris in 2001, Art Blakey with the 1964 edition of the Jazz Messengers, and, from 2017, British tenor saxophonist Nubya Garcia.
Just to add that saxophonist and local lad Alam Nathoo explores the ideas of structure and improvising in jazz in Free Thinking, which looks very interesting in other respects, this coming Thurs 30 Sept, 10pm; and "Norwegian free jazz improvisations" [sic] get mentioned in Late Junction, Fri 1 October, 11pm.
