Intrigued by "noise jazz" (not the strong silent type of jazz, and not "nose jazz", because that's Roland Kirk and his flute) so checked Wiki...

"Noise music is a genre of music that is characterised by the expressive use of noise within a musical context. This type of music tends to challenge the distinction that is made in conventional musical practices between musical and non-musical sound"

Rattling plates at the Village Vanguard during the Bill Evans trio sets does not count. Obviously
