Working on two transcriptions at the moment, 'Dark Prince' by John McLaughlin performed by Trio of Doom, the beginning of John's solo you can see in the picture below, and John McLaughlin's 'Dragon Song'. Today and yesterday it's been 'Dragon Song' - I started this transcription about twenty months ago but gave up not too far in, but I am determined to get it all down on paper and eventually be able to play it, though it is tricky to figure out given both the fact that John's guitar is soaked in distortion and wah-wah, and the production isn't exactly a paragon of clarity...
