    Disappearance of Amazon sellers?

Have just noticed that Amazon sellers have disappeared from their website. It seems that any item now has to be purchased directly from Amazon, often at an inflated price.
    Any explanations?

I think that doesn't apply to every item, or am I missing a point.

    See this page - https://smile.amazon.co.uk/gp/offer-...r=8-6&dchild=1

    and another - https://smile.amazon.co.uk/gp/offer-...r=1-4&dchild=1

and yet one more - https://smile.amazon.co.uk/gp/offer-...=1-18&dchild=1

I do agree that a lot do seem to have disappeared. Perhaps it's because of warehousing issues.

They have been" hidden" on my wishlist.

Just checked listings for a couple of our recent book titles, and the market place sellers are well represented.
I will not be pushed, filed, stamped, indexed, briefed, debriefed or numbered. My life is my own.

I am not a number, I am a free man.

Currently almost every jazz CD I've searched for seems to be available only directly from Amazon.

Not something I have yet encountered, whether re jazz, 'classical. or any other genre, come to that. Perhaps you have just been unlucky in your specific desired items? However, many discs are best sourced other than via Amazon, e.g.:

I just searched for John Coltrane's Half Note double album. Two different market place sellers for it.

I've heard from one seller who hasn't had any sales for 3 weeks due to Amazon's changes.

It seemed to apply tight across the board but I think the problem has now been addressed.
