Sounds like Teresa May at PMQs! Well, I'm giving it another go, David Murray has had his moments, "The Hill", "Ming's Samba" and a live duo gig with David Burrell that I've got on CD. Oh, and a much earlierer India Navigation set with Lester Bowie when he was channelling Ayler. I will pursue over the weekend.

*Listened again to the David Murray & Bobby Watson sets from last week's Jazz Now. Murray still leaves me, if not cold, then tepid. The Bobby Watson Qrt set (too short) however was a lot better. Apparantly the venue was a field which can't of helped things. Good band though...

IIRC Humph refused to use the word slash for the symbol "/" and steadfastly referred to them as strokes when giving out the web address for "The Best of Jazz" on Radio 2.
