"Full House" the live Riverside album with Johnny Griffin on tenor and the then Miles Davis rhythm section, Kelly, Chambers, Cobb. Absolutely glorious, driving, incredible stuff from all. Wes had a double jointed thumb which supposedly explains how he did some of that stuff. But I think he had three thumbs and sixteen fingers. At least.

Wes was one of the four Americans I experienced at Ronnie's, ca. 1965, before it became The Old Place. Unforgettable.
