Thanks for this. Good to see Kurt Elling up there. The search is still on to find the definitive male jazz vocalist and Elling comes somewhere near imho. His musical radio play The Big Blind (it’s a poker term) premiers tonight at The Lincoln Centre, NY. British interest represented by music conducted by Guy Barker, and Ian Shaw’s in it. The play is available as a webcast from the Lincoln Centre today.
