Something' else were the producers of the old Jazz on 3 program and they had much un-broadcasted material of many great recordings
Will we now get to hear those 'Missing Bits' from those concerts? Some that come to mind are...
Tim Berne Big Satan Vortex May 2006 - the second set
Prezens (Torn, Berne, etc) Vortex - missing 70% of the first set of the 'Jazz on 3's Broadcast of the Year'
Science Friction 2003 QEH - missing first 15min number
Buffalo Collision - missing first 25min of the first set
Henri Texier - missing opening 2 numbers (Amazon Blues & Mosaic Man) ~ 22min
I know Somethin' Else and Jazz on 3 got many requests for just these items, but I'm sure that may enthusiasts and BBC licence payers (who funded these recordings in the first place) will want to hear these.
