    If only the beer was a good as the jazz....

    Been curious as to who the band was playing in the recent Stella Artois advert and, after doing a little research, found out that the track was "No problem" by Art Blakey's Jazz Messengers. I'd no idea that this band (with Barney Wilen) has recorded a soundtrack for a french film in 1960.

    I think that the advert is great and plays on the New Wave style of film making. Not seen this particular film albeit I'm not a huge fan of this era of film making. A lot of the best French films have been made within the last ten years and films like "Breathless" now seem very much of their era even if the soundtracks were particularly good.
