Not much given to looking forward in this day & age, it's a pleasure to announce the above event, 8 days of ambitious programming a couple of months hence, of which the newly revived Brotherhood of Breath must surely be one of the highlights.
It's a bit far for me to travel, being without motor, but Ian might possibly find it within an acceptable travelling distance?
I recall going on a Geography A Level school trip to Shoreham by hired coach. And I remember our subgroup going into a travel agency, in our school uniforms, and asking an unlucky counter staff representative to arrange a helicopter flight around the port, and receiving the reply. "I'm afraid I must ask you gentlemen [sic] to leave the premises". That was the way to deal with obstreperous yoof - none of your, "Right, up against the wall, hands out of pockets" Stop & Search mallarkey regularly meted out on Brixton lads. At age 17 I don't think we were much interested in what English ports still did in those days, but at least we weren't scouring the streets of Shoreham for what was then described by the likes of us as the "local talent".
