I watched the Annie Nightingale, (anyone else watch it?) all the time thinking in agreement, yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, NO!!!!... then switched off! So thanks v much, jazzrook. Somewhere along the line I lost my Cherry - never knew about this performance.

Not badly preserved though, mind! Nevertheless I would have been more interested in what she had to say if she'd been more articulate about the music, but ended up thinking she was more into the personalities. It's one thing to be on the lookout for unknowns, but I wondered if she actually liked much of the stuff she'd presented. Good on her, though, for using her position to give them exposure.
