One of the most exciting albums I've heard in a long while is 'Gem Tones'(CDORB 097) by the Indian alto saxophonist, Kadri Gopalnath. He plays Carnatic music of south India but has also played with John Handy, James Newton & Evan Parker.
The music on this 77-minute CD is exhilarating with a strong jazz feel and I'm sure many boredees would love it. Definitely worth checking out.
