        Glad to hear that track from Trish Clowes's new CD given prominence near the start of JLU, and the, rightly, positive comments made on its and her behalf. Now listening to Kandace - nice! She takes on a lot of Flack - Roberta Flack!

              ANyone know if Ralph Alessi is any relation of Tony Alessi (Alessandrini), a pianist with, amongst others, the Woody Herman Second Herd?

                Ah, I can answer my own question: it's no. Ralph Alessi is no relation, partly because "Tony Alessi" was actually Tony Aless, not Alessi. Dimwit.
