12.00 Geoffrey Smith's Jazz

Mon 25 Jan
11.00 Jazz on 3
Music recorded at Adventures in sound at the 2015 London Jazz Festival, featuring performances by Samuel Blaser and his quartet and Julie Kjaer with John Edwards and Steve Noble
I urge everyone to give this one a go. I don't know Samual Blaser, but I do Julie Kjaer, an amazing alto player from Denmark and lovely person, whom I saw at my jazz local a couple of years ago. She's with the incomparable John Edwards on bass and Steve Noble, probably my favourite "free" drummer on the British scene.
