TBH I'm not familiar with that particular one - I may have a track or tracks from it on a compilation cassette. I'll check tomorrow.

Crikey! How did you avoid it in the 70s?

Anyway, so long as you don’t take it out of its context, I’m sure you’ll enjoy it.

I've been listening to a bit of Robert Glasper on line after checking out Kamasi Washington on YouTube. I saw Glasper with Christian Scott back in July and walked out of the gig because it was just so dull. It is intriguing to listen to the clips of Glasper on YouTube because he seems to think that what he is playing is extremely "hip" but the music is just noodling over a hip hop groove. At one point on one f the tracks, Glasper gets out his mobile phone and takes a photo ! There are other clips you can find on line where he is hardly going anything at all. It is almost like he is a hip hop Count Basie! I did not mind his acoustic stuff which was ok but I am thinking that his current work is seriously over-rated and that he is coasting artistically.
