Roy was truly one of the greats. Big interview (actually at least three separate ones) in my On Jazz book but our Jazz Library show is still downloadable from the R3 website. One of the nicest least assuming musicians I’ve met. My obit on the Jazzwise website.

That's what I figured. Thanks for checking, Alyn. The first of the two links to that interview in America on Jazzrook's #17 is well worth watching. Footage from that Chick Corea concert in Japan brought tears to me for the two greats gone. I'm presuming the "wailing bass" to be Miroslav Vitous - I could always Czech, ho ho..
