Benny Golson's Whisper Not... in C# major??? Slight problems with recorded intonation between the two tracks on JRR just now strongly suggested such, though why that of all keys? I've always imagined it as being in F; from now on it'll be in C for me - transcribed down to the easiest key for a piano player as bad as me, if not for other instruments of a regular line-up.
Great that Alyn has chosen to make Benny the theme for a week - a true gent as well as a great musician: they don't always come in pairs.
