Always more than worthwhile as a musician as well as insightful "apologist" for the music, Liam is refreshingly candid about combining raising kids with today's jazz life. I like his comment "I can't imagine Minton's was like that" :

It must be a difficult balance. Especially when you're away a lot when they are young.
Coincidently I came across this which I had no idea existed... Cannonball Adderley's 1961 LP, "Child's introduction to jazz". Play this to your chopsy kids. Cannon was the great communicator.
