    Martin France (1964 - 2024) - R.I.P.

    Not I have to admit one of my favourite drummers from the Loose Tubes association - I've always preferred Steve Arguelles - Mancunian-born Martin was nevertheless hugely respected as a "musician's musician" in the community and much loved, the dependable one most often chosen by Kenny Wheeler in his last years over here, and he will be greatly missed. His passing at the age of 60 comes as a huge shock. Below is a very nice tribute by Mark Lockheart.
