No JRR this weekend - AGAIN!!!
Am I correct in thinking back in the good old days that displaced programmes were moved to another time slot and well announced amid a flurry of apologies, or am I suffering from False Memory Syndrome?
As for the rest:
Mon 9 - 13 Sept
Over on Radio 4 (again - perhaps someone should start a Friends of Radio 4!) on Friday 13 Sept:
7.15pm: Add to Playlist - 5/7
Jeffrey Boakye and Anna Phoebe are joined by saxophonist Emma Rawicz and pianist Julian Joseph to explore connections in African-American music. And there's an additional contribution from the musician Rhiannon Giddens, who explains the links between the banjo and transatlantic slavery.
