I am not normally given to buying jazz singer-based CDs, but both myself and our absented friend Joseph K have been great admirers of Ant Law's skills as both guitarist in a post-Abercrombie mould and composer, and among contemporary British vocalists I rate Brigitte quite highly. Also, Ant plays acoustic on this which, as he says, is unusual for him. Rarely do I buy albums of any sort these days, but this is definitely a maybe.
