Plus a preview of this year's London Jazz Festival (10-19 November) with music from some of the line-up, including highlights of a live performance given by vocalist Samara Joy earlier this year at the Jazz Café in Camden Town in London. And saxophonist Nubya Garcia shares a favourite by Stan Getz ahead of a celebration of his music on 15 September at the Royal Festival Hall in London.

I was saying to a couple of the musicians Amy started out working with, "It's a tragedy that instead of sticking with you guys she elected instead to try for a would-be more commercial direction". Which is what Julie Driscoll wisely chose not to do back in the day. Being the gentlemen they are they didn't say anything.
