        The banjos have all been "removed" by a team of crack French sound engineeers wearing bop berets. A kind of Dolby process that targets the "thing". As Sartre said "Hell IS the banjo".

        In Jean Pierre Melville's film, "Fascisime et Banjoism" (1965) Alain Delon as "Barney" strangles and/or electrocutes banjo players on the Metro line. One of his greatest roles.
