I heard Sanborn perform live several years back and would have to totally disagree with you as he is definitely jazz.

I never suggested that David Sanborn didn't play Jazz. I explained that there was to my knowledge an overlap between fans of Luther Vandross, Grover Washington and the more Pop side of David Sanborn, but that said fans never referred to KG.
