                No one believed me when I said I remember Little Jimmy Osmond singing this on UK TV at the height of his fame, but I recently found an article where he referred to singing it in Las Vegas around that time. It seems they cut some of the lyrics out. Someone on Youtube objects to the line "A womans place is right there in the home" but doesn't seem to notice the misogyny of every other line in the song !!

                Sounds wonderful though

                    I've always taken this song as RC ridiculing himself, and foreshadowing ads etc that depict men as clumsy one-track incompetents, etc; I hope I'm right!
